The thing with words and phrases
When one’s starting to love their physical appearance; they tell themselves, or you hear society and others say, “accept and love your flaws. They are beautiful imperfections.”
The Origin
Writing has always been a safe space to express how I’m feeling about myself, a person, or a situation.
The conversations I need to have
Sitting down with myself and questioning why some emotions are met with open arms while others are shunned.
My first language
A beautiful picture taken by @yogaracheal caught my attention. As soon as I saw those words written on the image, so many situations came to my mind.
What’s Important?
We talk to the people we love each and every day or we try to keep in touch as much as we can. When it’s time to catch up, we talk about the usual “normal things”.
Am I allowed to speak?
Everything in my life (well most things) was explained through lectures or beatings. Sometimes, both. I was taught and I had to listen.
The breakup they never told you about
When I was growing up, I always wondered what would hurt more. The death of a loved one or my first heartbreak.
I plan my life out a day at a time, so my posting schedule can be erratic.
